It’s an old cliché that the sound quality of a guitar rig is proportional to its size. The Metropolitan proves that this ‘myth’ is completely untrue by producing a sound quality comparable with any head/cab rig from a compact unit measuring 330mm x 250mm x 370mm and weighing only 8.5Kg.

At the heart of the Metropolitan is a custom 8” (200mm) Jensen Custom speaker powered by a 10W power amp and 2 x EL84 tubes, all mounted within a tuned birch cabinet that provides exceptional resonant quality. The dual channel pre-amp is incredibly versatile and generates an impressive range of soft and balanced output frequencies. The clean channel has a WARM/SHINE control that allows minute tonal adjustments regardless of volume level. The drive channel has separate TEXTURE & AIR controls for creating an unlimited range of sounds. The innovative equalization control system is unique to Brunetti.

Another very useful feature of the Metropolitan is the HEADPHONE/RECORDING output and corresponding speaker On/Off switch that enables you to disconnect the speaker and play in complete silence using headphones. The integral 1W amp and high quality circuit emulate the the main 10W system, making it possible to play at home without disturbing anyone else and without any loss of sound quality.
